This essay film provides an in-depth look at the history and politics of the news media, particularly in context to India's shifting economic position within global politics. Taking off its argument in favour of an unbiased and independent media space from the point of view of some of the controversial debates raging over fake news, the film takes its viewers through a journey across the world of journalism. The film is narrated through a series of interviews with veteran Indian journalists, columnists, reporters, editors, a human resource manager, a photographer and photo editor, as well as a popular cartoonist.
